Taking the time-(Plus a Throw-down Challenge Check in!)

Blog post- taking time title

Big Sigh! I’m inspired! I’m ready! Yep I have all the motivation right now to kick the butt of those challenges I’ve been throwing down. Problem is I am struggling to find the time for everything. Things come up. Whether it’s the day job, the family, or some unforeseen emergency, things do come up creating road blocks on the road to meeting whatever challenge you have set for yourself. So, I’m going to make this short and sweet.

I’m throwing down a challenge- Take 1 hour! Yep, I challenge you to take 1 hour a day, more if you have it, but at least 1 hour to use only for whatever challenge you are currently working to meet before January 1st. So if you’re working on weight loss, use the hour for exercise, cutting up veggies for the next day, or even meditation. (You can meditate for an hour telling yourself over and over again that you can do it if that’s how you roll!) Whatever it takes, use your time wisely.  If you’re working on something else, use that hour for something that will help accomplish your goals.

Blog post Taking time

So as you can see I am struggling to make time for everything and I am a bit behind in my challenge. Only 3 pounds lost so far and I should be further along. So starting today, I’m taking that hour even if it means giving up another hours sleep. I’m using it to work on my goals. Today I bought a Jillian Michaels DVD that offers 20 minute workouts so that I can make sure I fit exercise into my schedule. I truly believe where there is a will there is a way. I know I can meet my goals and I know you can meet yours as well. We’re down to about 8 weeks folks. Time to hustle!!! I hope yours are coming along great! We hope you’ll check in and let us know how your challenges are coming along. We can’t wait to hear all about it.

Love love love Jillian Michaels workouts. She gets so much done in such a short time, without destroying knees, back, etc. Anyway, love the idea of just one hour a day to focus. It’s so easy to lose sight of the goal in the midst of the day-to-day noise. Great reminder!

Yep, that’s what I was thinking. I have heard great things about Jillian Michaels and with this workout being only 20 minutes that gives me another 40 minutes to get in editing and writing if I only happen to have an hour that day!
